Tree Stewards held their first tree sale of the year on May 4. A bright sun shone on our site at The Shops at Stonefield as 30 volunteers assisted over 100 customers with tree and shrub selection for their homes. Our experts advised and counseled customers on their questions and concerns for existing and future plantings. If you missed this event, our fall tree sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, from 10 – 2 at the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants at Tufton Farm. Come join us and take a tree walk around the beautiful Tufton grounds.
